Applications for Hydro-Excavation
Considering that even the common practice
of digging by hand proposes several risks to both the employee and to the
underground infrastructure, our most commonly requested service is to
visually identify the location of underground utilities. Since our unit’s high pressurized water
proposes no
danger to even the most sensitive of
underground utilities, our hydro-vac units can safely dig around and identify
utilities while eliminating all risk to your company and your employees.
Below is a list of the most common
services Hydro-Vac, Inc. provides in addition to several examples for each
application. |

exposing and identifying buried pipelines or utilities. Holes may be as constricted as a few inches
or as large and deep as necessary. Buried lines are generally hydro-excavated
to allow visual confirmation of the location, depth, and orientation. Times to Pothole-

and circumference for installation, replacement or removal purposes. By hydro-excavating your pole holes rather
than digging the more Traditional way, your company will be able
to dig safely while eliminating the unsightly pile of
spoils that inevitably results from mechanical digging or digging, by
